What It Is
A Liquid Ceramic That Bonds to Surfaces and Stays There
A ceramic coating is a liquid-applied formula that, once cured, chemically bonds to the underlying surface and forms a transparent protective layer. The result is a durable, hydrophobic finish that enhances appearance, resists contamination, and outlasts traditional sealers and waxes by years.
The same core science behind ceramic coatings can be tuned for very different applications. The chemistry built for an automotive paint exposed to UV, road grime, and chemical contamination is not the same chemistry built for an interior surface like a stone countertop or a glass shower enclosure.
We install two distinct product lines from ProTech, the same manufacturer behind both: GlossTech ProSeries for vehicles, and HomeArmor for residential and commercial interior surfaces.

What is the difference between GlossTech ProSeries and HomeArmor?
Both come from the same manufacturer, ProTech, but each is engineered for a different environment. GlossTech ProSeries is built for automotive paint exposed to UV, road grime, and chemical contamination. HomeArmor is built for interior residential and commercial surfaces like stone, tile, glass, metal, and appliances. The chemistry, cure profiles, and expected performance differ because the use cases differ. Using one in the other's environment does not deliver the expected results.
How do I choose which product line is right for me?
It is determined by what you are protecting. Vehicles go with GlossTech ProSeries, with three tiers (2-year Select, 4-year Elite, 6-year Signature) and specialty options for wheels, paint protection film, vinyl wraps, and glass. Homes and commercial spaces go with HomeArmor, with three dedicated formulations for Kitchen & Bath, Appliance, and Glass surfaces. We help match the right tier or formulation to how you actually use the surface.
Do you install both product lines?
Yes. We are an Authorized GlossTech installer and a Certified HomeArmor applicator. Both certifications require training in proper preparation, application technique, and performance outcomes. We are equipped to deliver consistent quality across automotive, residential, and commercial coating projects.
How much does a ceramic coating cost?
Automotive ceramic coatings have transparent tier pricing starting at $1,129.95 CAD for the 2-year Select tier. Specialty automotive coatings like Wheels & Caliper, PPF & Vinyl Ceramic, and Glass Coating have published per-unit pricing on the automotive page. Residential and commercial HomeArmor projects are quoted per project based on surfaces, square footage, and condition.
How long do ceramic coatings last?
Longevity depends on the product line and how the surface is used. Automotive tiers run from 2 years (Select) to 6 years (Signature). HomeArmor Kitchen & Bath lasts up to 2 to 3 years, HomeArmor Appliance up to 3 years, and HomeArmor Glass 12 to 24 months depending on water conditions. We explain realistic expectations during the consultation and recommend an option that matches how long you plan to keep the surface protected.
Do you serve outside of Markham?
Yes. We serve the broader GTA including Unionville, Stouffville, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, North York, Scarborough, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Toronto. Automotive work happens at our Markham studio. Residential and commercial HomeArmor projects are installed on-site at your property.
