Residential & Commercial Ceramic Coatings in Markham

Protect. Preserve. Simplify.

HomeArmor is the residential ceramic coating Markham homeowners and trade partners turn to for stone, tile, appliance, and glass surfaces. A purpose-built ceramic coating system designed for the home, professionally installed on-site across the GTA.

Built for the home, not repurposed from a vehicle. Quoted per project based on surfaces and square footage.

What It Is

Built for the Home, Not Repurposed From a Vehicle

HomeArmor is a purpose-built ceramic coating designed specifically for residential and commercial interior surfaces. Where traditional sealers and rebranded automotive coatings fall short on long-term household use, HomeArmor is engineered from the start for kitchens, bathrooms, glass, and appliances.

Once cured, the coating forms an invisible, solid-state barrier that resists staining, moisture, and everyday wear without changing the look or feel of the surface. It is chemically inert, non-reactive, does not off-gas, and is safe for kitchens and bathrooms after curing.

We are a certified HomeArmor applicator and install across new builds, renovations, and premium upgrades for homeowners and trade partners alike.

The Problem

High-Value Surfaces Deteriorate Faster Than Expected

Natural stone, glass, and modern interior finishes are vulnerable to staining, etching, and wear from daily use. Moisture, food acids, and household cleaners degrade these surfaces over time, often faster than homeowners expect. Traditional sealers fall short on durability, and automotive coatings were never designed for interior conditions.

Stone & Quartz

Etching From Daily Use

Countertops etch from acidic foods, wine, and citrus, as the Natural Stone Institute documents. Mineral hazing builds over time, and once damage starts it accelerates.

Glass

Cloudy Showers & Mirrors

Shower enclosures cloud from mineral deposits, soap residue, and hard water. Cleaning gets harder the longer it goes unaddressed.

Appliances

Fingerprints & Dulling

Stainless steel shows fingerprints constantly. Polished metals dull and oxidize over years of contact with skin oils and cleaners.

HomeArmor was created to address each of these surfaces with its own dedicated formulation, rather than forcing one general-purpose product to do everything.

The HomeArmor System

Three Formulations, One Protection System

Each formulation is engineered for a specific substrate to ensure compatibility and predictable performance. We assess your surfaces and apply the right product for each.

Our Process

How HomeArmor Gets Installed

Coating performance starts with proper prep and the right formulation per surface. Most residential applications complete in a single visit.

1

Surface Assessment & Consultation

We assess the surfaces to be coated, confirm material compatibility, and identify the right HomeArmor formulation for each one. New builds, renovations, and existing finishes are all candidates.

2

Cleaning & Surface Preparation

Surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated. Existing residues, sealers, or films are addressed before application to ensure the coating bonds properly and performs as expected.

3

Coating Application & Cure

The matched HomeArmor formulation is applied per the manufacturer specifications. Cure time runs around 2.5 hours per surface, after which the coating becomes solid-state and inert.

4

Walkthrough & Aftercare

We review the finished surfaces with you, explain pH-neutral maintenance, and provide aftercare guidance. Following the maintenance routine is what extends coating performance.

FAQ

Frequently Asked HomeArmor Questions

Answers to the questions homeowners and trade partners ask most.

What surfaces can HomeArmor be applied to? +

HomeArmor has three formulations covering distinct surface types. Kitchen & Bath bonds with natural stone (marble, soapstone, quartz, granite), tile, porcelain, and solid surfaces (Corian, Staron, Avonite, HI-MACS, Formica Solid Surfacing, Mystera). Appliance bonds with stainless steel, painted metals, brass, and chrome. Glass bonds with shower enclosures, windows, mirrors, and architectural glass.

How long does HomeArmor last? +

Longevity depends on the formulation and how the surface is used. HomeArmor Kitchen & Bath delivers up to 2 to 3 years of expected performance. HomeArmor Appliance lasts up to 3 years. HomeArmor Glass lasts 12 to 24 months depending on usage and water conditions. Performance is optimized when the coating is applied by a certified professional and maintained according to guidelines.

Is HomeArmor safe for food-contact surfaces? +

Yes. Once cured, HomeArmor becomes solid-state, chemically inert, and non-reactive. It does not off-gas and is safe for use in kitchens, on countertops, and on food-prep surfaces. For commercial food-service applications, follow local health regulations and approved cleaning protocols.

What does HomeArmor cost? +

HomeArmor projects are quoted per project based on the surfaces being coated, square footage, surface condition, and access. Pricing varies widely between a single bathroom shower and a full kitchen with multiple surfaces. Request a quote and we will assess your project and provide a detailed scope and price.

How long does the installation take? +

Most residential applications complete in a single visit. Cure time runs around 2.5 hours per surface, after which the coating becomes solid-state. We confirm precise timelines after the surface assessment based on the scope of the project.

Can HomeArmor be applied to existing surfaces or only new ones? +

Both. HomeArmor integrates into new builds, renovations, and existing surfaces. Existing surfaces need to be properly cleaned and prepared before coating. We assess condition during the consultation and confirm whether prep work is required before the coating step.

Will HomeArmor change the look or texture of my surface? +

No. HomeArmor forms an invisible, solid-state barrier without changing the look or feel of the underlying surface. The original colour, texture, and finish are preserved. Some surfaces show a subtle enhancement of natural appeal, but the coating does not add gloss, sheen, or visible film.

How is HomeArmor different from automotive ceramic coatings? +

HomeArmor is purpose-built for interior household and commercial surfaces. Automotive ceramic coatings are engineered for vehicle paint exposed to road conditions, UV, and contamination. The chemistries, cure profiles, and expected performance differ. For vehicles, we use GlossTech ProSeries on our automotive ceramic coatings page. Applying an automotive coating to interior household surfaces, or vice versa, does not deliver the expected results.

How do I maintain a HomeArmor-coated surface? +

Maintenance is straightforward. Use pH-neutral, non-abrasive cleaners and quality cleaning cloths. Avoid abrasive pads, powders, and strong chemicals that could degrade the coating. Biodegradable cleaners are recommended. We provide a full aftercare guide with every installation.

Do you offer trade pricing for contractors, builders, and designers? +

Yes. Trade pricing is available for tile and countertop installers, contractors, home builders, interior designers, and renovation professionals. Reach out with your project details and we will scope it out with the appropriate pricing structure for your role.
