Automotive Ceramic Coating Markham: GlossTech ProSeries

Automotive ceramic coating Markham drivers trust starts with the right product. We install GlossTech ProSeries with three tiers covering vehicle paint, wheels, brake calipers, paint protection film, vinyl wraps, and glass, professionally applied at our Markham studio.

We are honest about what ceramic coatings can and cannot do, and we match the tier to how you actually use the vehicle, not just the most expensive option we offer.

What It Is

A Liquid Nano-Ceramic That Chemically Bonds to the Surface

A ceramic coating is a liquid-applied formula that, once cured, chemically bonds to the underlying surface and forms a transparent protective layer. The result is a durable, hydrophobic finish that enhances gloss, resists contamination, and outlasts traditional waxes and sealants by years.

On a vehicle, that means cleaner panels for longer, easier washes, and protection against UV oxidation, road grime, and chemical staining. The same chemistry can be applied to wheels, brake calipers, paint protection film, vinyl wraps, and glass with formulations tuned to each surface.

We install GlossTech ProSeries coatings, which use a "True Ceramic" Polysilazane technology in a fluorine-free formula. Independent lab testing and real-world torture testing back the durability and chemical-resistance claims for each tier.

For maximum exterior defence, ceramic coatings are often paired with paint protection film, which adds impact resistance against stone chips and road debris.

Where It Works

What We Coat on Your Vehicle

Three categories cover everything we coat on the vehicle itself. Each uses a formulation tuned to the surface, not a single product stretched across mismatched materials.

Paint

Vehicle Paint

Daily drivers, weekend cars, and high-end vehicles. Enhances gloss, repels contamination, and simplifies maintenance.

Wheels & Brakes

Wheels & Brake Calipers

High-temperature ceramic for brake dust resistance and easier wheel cleaning. Engineered for thermal stress and chemical buildup.

Film & Wrap

PPF & Vinyl Wraps

Film-specific ceramic that bonds to porous PPF and vinyl surfaces without altering finish, whether gloss, satin, or matte.

Coating homes or commercial spaces instead? See our residential and commercial ceramic coatings page, where we install HomeArmor for stone, tile, glass, metal, and appliance surfaces.

Package pricing is based on new or well-maintained vehicles requiring light polishing. Used vehicles with heavier swirling, oxidation, water spotting, or deeper defects may require additional correction time.

New / Well-Kept Vehicles

Starting Package Pricing Usually Applies

Newer or well-maintained vehicles typically need lighter preparation before coating. This includes wash, decontamination, paint prep, a light enhancement polish, and coating installation.

Used / Heavily Swirled Vehicles

Correction Is Quoted After Inspection

Ceramic coating locks in the surface underneath it, so paint condition matters. Vehicles with heavier wash damage, oxidation, water spotting, or deeper defects may need additional polishing before coating.

All prices in CAD before tax. Final quotes depend on vehicle size, panel condition, and the level of paint correction required.

Honest Framing

When a Ceramic Coating Is the Right Call

Coatings are valuable when matched to the surface and the owner. They are not the answer for every situation, and we will tell you when something else, or nothing at all, is the better choice.

Where Ceramic Coating Makes Sense

  • Vehicles you plan to keep for several years
  • Owners who want easier washes and less product buildup
  • Cars exposed to road grime, salt, and pollen
  • Surfaces where staining or water spotting is a recurring issue
  • Buyers protecting a long-term investment in a vehicle, home, or commercial space

Where Other Solutions May Fit Better

  • Vehicles with significant paint damage that needs full correction or repaint
  • Short-term ownership where the investment cannot pay back
  • Highway-driven vehicles where stone chip protection matters more than gloss, in which case PPF is the better starting point
  • Surfaces with active damage or contamination that prep cannot fully resolve

Benefits

What Ceramic Coating Improves

Real, measurable benefits across appearance, longevity, and day-to-day maintenance.

Hydrophobic Water Beading

Water sheets off the surface instead of pooling, dragging dirt with it and leaving less to clean.

UV & Oxidation Protection

Slows the fading and clear-coat oxidation caused by years of sun exposure on automotive paint and other surfaces.

Enhanced Gloss

Adds clarity and depth to the underlying surface. Paint looks deeper, stone looks richer, glass looks cleaner.

Chemical Resistance

Buffers the surface against bird droppings, tree sap, road salt, and household chemicals that would otherwise etch or stain.

Easier Maintenance

Less frequent washing, fewer harsh cleaners, no need for waxing. Routine upkeep takes less time.

Long-Term Surface Value

Slows the wear and dulling that accelerates surface aging, helping preserve value over years of use.

Our Process

What Working With Us Looks Like

Coating performance starts with proper prep. A clean, properly corrected surface is what makes a ceramic coating last.

1

Consultation & Tier Selection

We review your vehicle or surface, discuss how it is used, and recommend the tier that fits how long you plan to keep it. Coatings should match ownership timelines, not just budget.

2

Decontamination & Surface Enhancement

Surfaces are washed, decontaminated, and inspected. A light enhancement polish is included in every automotive package to improve gloss and clarity before the coating is applied. Heavier correction is quoted separately when required.

3

Coating Application & Curing

The coating is applied in controlled conditions, panel by panel, with proper flash and leveling time at each step. The product then cures inside the studio before the vehicle returns to service.

4

Walkthrough & Aftercare

We review the finished result with you and explain wash technique, products to avoid, and what to expect in the first week of curing.

Complete the Build

Complete Your Vehicle Protection

Ceramic coatings work best as part of a full protection approach. Many of our coating clients also invest in paint protection film, window tint, or vinyl wraps.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Ceramic Coating Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most before installation.

How long does a ceramic coating last? +

Coating longevity depends on the tier selected, how the vehicle or surface is used, and how it is maintained. Our automotive packages run from 2 years to 6 years of expected performance under normal use. We will explain realistic expectations during your consultation and recommend an option that matches how long you plan to keep the vehicle or surface.

What ceramic coating brand do you use? +

We are an Authorized GlossTech Installer and install the GlossTech ProSeries lineup: Select (2-year), Elite (4-year), and Signature (6-year). GlossTech ProSeries uses a "True Ceramic" Polysilazane technology in a fluorine-free formula, manufactured in the USA. The coatings are independently lab tested and vehicle torture tested before release, which is part of why we chose the brand.

What is the difference between ProSeries Select, Elite, and Signature? +

The three tiers differ in expected service life, active solids, chemical resistance, and gloss depth. ProSeries Select (2-year) is our entry-level option, suitable for shorter ownership or lighter-duty vehicles. ProSeries Elite (4-year) is our most popular package, with "True Ceramic" Polysilazane technology and chemical resistance across pH 1 to 13. ProSeries Signature (6-year) carries the highest active solids and thickest ceramic layer in the lineup, with broad chemical resistance across pH 1 to 14 and added UV protection. All three include minor paint correction.

Can ceramic coatings prevent scratches? +

Ceramic coatings are not scratch-proof. They can help reduce the visibility of light swirl marks and micro-abrasions caused by improper washing, but they do not protect against rock chips or deep scratches. For impact protection, paint protection film is the better solution.

Are ceramic coatings worth it on a new vehicle? +

Yes. Applying a ceramic coating early helps preserve the factory finish, adds a hydrophobic barrier, and simplifies ongoing maintenance. Many owners coat new vehicles to protect the paint from the start rather than correcting damage later.

Is paint correction included with a ceramic coating? +

Every automotive ceramic coating package includes a light enhancement polish to improve gloss and prepare the surface before coating. Heavier paint correction, deep scratch reduction, oxidation removal, water spot removal, or multi-stage compounding may add to the quoted price depending on paint condition.

Do you offer ceramic coatings for non-automotive surfaces? +

Yes. We are a Certified HomeArmor applicator and install ceramic coatings for stone, tile, glass, metal, brass, chrome, and appliance surfaces in homes and commercial spaces. See our residential and commercial ceramic coatings page for details. HomeArmor is a different product line from GlossTech ProSeries because the chemistries, cure profiles, and expected performance differ between vehicle and interior surface use cases.

Can ceramic coating be applied to vehicle glass? +

Yes. We offer GlossTech ProSeries Glass Coating starting at $249 for windshields and automotive glass. It improves clarity, reduces glare, creates a hydrophobic surface that sheds water and dirt, and helps make automotive glass easier to maintain in rain, snow, and daily driving conditions.

Can ceramic coating be applied to paint protection film or vinyl wrap? +

Yes, with the right product. We offer a PPF and Vinyl Ceramic Coating starting at $695 that is formulated specifically to bond with porous film surfaces. The coating improves water spot resistance and hydrophobic behaviour without altering the underlying film finish, whether it is gloss, satin, or matte.

How long does the application process take? +

Most automotive coating applications take 1 to 3 days, depending on the package selected, the vehicle size, and the level of paint correction required. We will confirm a precise timeline at booking.

How do I maintain a ceramic coated surface? +

Maintenance is straightforward. Use pH-neutral soaps, quality wash tools, and proper drying technique. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive brushes, and automatic car washes that use stiff brushes. We provide aftercare guidance with every installation to help maximize coating performance and longevity.
