What It Is

A Different Look, Without Repainting

Vinyl wrap is a high-quality cast film applied to your vehicle's panels to change colour, finish, or accent specific areas. When professionally installed on healthy factory paint, it is fully reversible, which makes it a flexible option for owners who want a new look without permanently altering the vehicle.

Vinyl is primarily an appearance product. It is not designed to absorb rock chips or road debris the way paint protection film is. If real protection is the priority, our coloured PPF option is built to give you both a colour change and a self-healing protective layer in one film.

We will talk through the right fit before you book. If vinyl is the better tool for the job, that is what we install. If coloured PPF is the better fit, we will tell you.

Important Fit Check

Not Every Vehicle Is a Good Wrap Candidate

A clean vinyl wrap starts with a healthy surface. Failing clear coat, heavy rock chips, deep scratches, rust, peeling paint, poor previous repairs, and some repainted panels can affect the final result and increase the risk during future removal.

Before we recommend wrapping a vehicle, we look at the paint condition and discuss what is realistic. Sometimes wrap is the right answer. Sometimes correction, repair, PPF, or simply waiting is the more honest recommendation.

When Vinyl Makes Sense

The Right Tool for the Job

Vinyl wrap is at its best when the priority is appearance, identity, or reversibility. These are the use cases we see most often in our Markham studio.

01

Full Colour Change

Transform the vehicle's identity with a new finish across every panel, without committing to a permanent repaint.

02

Accent & Partial Work

Roof wraps, blacked-out hoods, mirror caps, racing stripes, chrome delete, and trim accents.

03

Fleet & Commercial

Branded fleet wraps for trades, service vehicles, and commercial vans built to project a clean, consistent presence on the road.

04

Lease-Friendly Reversibility

Personalize a lease vehicle now, then have the wrap professionally removed before return to bring the vehicle back to factory.

Accent Work

Chrome Delete: Small Change, Big Impact

Not every vinyl project needs to be a full colour change. Chrome delete is one of the most popular styling upgrades we perform. By replacing bright factory chrome with a gloss black finish, the vehicle takes on a cleaner, more modern appearance while maintaining an OEM-inspired look.

Popular Chrome Delete Areas

Window Trim

Black out bright chrome window surrounds for a cleaner side profile.

Door Handles

Match handles to the rest of the trim for a more cohesive appearance.

Mirror Caps

Create stronger contrast and tie exterior accents together.

Badges & Trim

Reduce visual clutter and modernize the overall design.

Finishes Available

From Subtle to Statement

Premium cast vinyl is available across a wide range of finishes. The right choice depends on the look you're after, the lighting your vehicle lives in, and how the finish will hold up over time. We'll walk through samples and recommendations before booking.

Gloss

Deep, mirror-like reflection. The closest visual match to factory paint.

Satin

A soft, refined sheen that sits between gloss and matte. Premium and understated.

Matte

Flat, non-reflective finish. Bold, modern, and visually disruptive in the best way.

Metallic

Pigmented metallic flake for added depth and dynamic light response across panels.

Chrome & Specialty

Mirror chrome, brushed metal looks, and other statement finishes. Use deliberately.

Brushed Metal

Subtle directional texture mimicking the look of brushed aluminum or steel.

Colour Shift

Films that shift hue with viewing angle. Dramatic, attention-driving, and unique.

Carbon Fibre

Textured carbon-look vinyl ideal for hoods, roofs, mirror caps, and interior accents.

Not every finish suits every vehicle or every climate. We'll talk through what's realistic for your panels, your daily use, and your long-term plans before recommending one.

Our Process

What Working With Us Looks Like

A clear, considered process built around the right film selection, careful prep, and clean finish work.

1

Consultation & Film Selection

We talk through the look you want, how you use the vehicle, and whether vinyl or coloured PPF is actually the better fit. Then we review samples and recommend a finish.

2

Prep & Surface Inspection

The vehicle is washed, decontaminated, and inspected. Healthy paint is essential for a clean install and a clean future removal. We will flag any concerns before film touches the vehicle.

3

Precision Installation

Panels are wrapped with careful attention to alignment, edges, complex curves, and finish consistency. Where panels need to be removed for cleaner edge work, we plan for it.

4

Final Inspection & Care Walkthrough

Before pickup, we inspect the finished wrap and walk you through care, washing, and what to expect as the film settles. Our vinyl wrap care guide covers the longer-term maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What People Ask Before Booking

How long does a vinyl wrap last?

Premium cast vinyl typically lasts 3 to 5 years with proper care. Longevity depends on the film used, the climate, sun exposure, how the vehicle is washed, and whether it spends most of its time indoors or outdoors.

Can vinyl wrap be removed without damaging factory paint?

Yes, when professional-grade cast vinyl is properly installed on healthy factory paint and removed by an experienced installer. Cheap calendered film, neglected wraps left on far past their lifespan, or paint that was already damaged before installation are the main risk factors.

Vinyl wrap or coloured PPF, which one should I choose?

Vinyl wrap is the better fit if appearance is the priority and you want a wide range of finishes at a more accessible price point. Coloured PPF is the better fit if you want a colour change paired with real paint protection, since the film is thicker, self-healing, and built to absorb rock chips and debris.

How long does a vinyl wrap installation take?

Full vehicle wraps usually take 5 to 7 days depending on the vehicle, the panels involved, and the type of finish. Partial wraps and accent work are typically completed in 1 to 2 days. We give you a clear timeline before booking and never rush the work to force a faster turnaround.

Will vinyl wrap protect my paint?

Vinyl wrap is designed primarily for appearance, not protection. It can offer light protection against minor surface wear, but it is not built to absorb rock chips, road debris, or impact the way paint protection film is. If real paint protection is the priority, PPF or coloured PPF is the better fit.

Can I wash my vehicle after it is wrapped?

Yes. Hand washing with a mild automotive soap and a clean microfiber mitt is the safest method. Avoid abrasive brushes, harsh chemicals, and high-pressure spray directly at the film edges. Touchless car washes are generally safer than brush automatics.

Do you wrap leased vehicles?

Yes. Vinyl wrap is a strong option for lease vehicles because it is fully reversible when installed and removed properly. Many lease clients use vinyl wrap to personalize the look during the lease term, then have the wrap professionally removed before the return.
