Paint Protection Film for Richmond Hill Drivers

Looking for PPF Richmond Hill drivers trust? We serve Richmond Hill clients from our Markham studio, ten minutes east along Highway 7.

Many Richmond Hill clients contact us before or shortly after taking delivery of a new vehicle. With several dealerships nearby and easy access to our Markham studio, it is common for owners to protect their paint before everyday driving leaves its mark.

That timing makes a difference. Paint protection film preserves the finish exactly as it exists, so installing it early helps keep factory paint looking the way it did on delivery day.

Timing Matters

The Best Time to Apply Film Is Before the First Chip

Paint protection film goes over the surface as it exists. It does not repair, fill, or hide what is already there. A chip in the paint on the day of installation is a chip you will still see through the film for the next decade.

That is why new-vehicle timing is worth thinking about. A car with delivery mileage has nothing to hide, so the film preserves a genuinely untouched finish rather than freezing existing wear in place.

Regular commuting around Richmond Hill quickly exposes the front of a vehicle to everyday wear. The 404, Yonge, Bayview, Leslie, Major Mackenzie, and Elgin Mills combine highway running with suburban stop-and-go, and winter brings sustained salt exposure. 01

Book Around Delivery

If you have a vehicle on order, booking the install for shortly after pickup means the paint is still untouched. Talk to us about timing before delivery rather than after.

02

Fresh Paint Needs Time

Factory paint is fully cured on delivery, so a new car is ready immediately. Repainted panels are different and need 15 to 30 days before film goes on.

03

Ahead of the First Winter

A vehicle delivered in autumn has the most to gain from film applied before salt season starts. Installing film before the first winter helps protect the vehicle through its first season of road salt, sand, and highway debris.

Coverage Options

Coverage for a Vehicle You Plan to Keep

For owners planning to keep their vehicle for many years, broader coverage often becomes easier to justify than it would on a shorter ownership cycle.

These are the packages clients compare before booking with us in Markham.

Entry Protection

Partial Plus

A sensible entry point, particularly on a shorter lease where the payback window is limited.

Includes: Full Hood, Partial Fenders, Full Bumper, Mirror Faces, and Headlights.

Well Suited to Long-Term Ownership

Full Frontal

Broader front-end coverage for a new vehicle you intend to keep. Full fender coverage is where the difference shows after a few 404 winters.

Includes: Full Hood, Full Fenders, Front Bumper, Mirror Faces, and Headlights.

Long Commutes

Full Frontal With Commuter Add-Ons

Suited to regular 404 running. Extends coverage to the panels that highway kilometres reach beyond the front end.

Includes: Full Frontal, plus A-pillars and rocker panels as à-la-carte add-ons.

Maximum Preservation

Total Coverage

Where long ownership makes the strongest case. Every painted panel preserved from delivery day onward.

Tell us how long you plan to keep the vehicle and roughly what your annual kilometres look like. Those two numbers do most of the work in choosing a package.

Why People Come Here

Ten Minutes East on Highway 7

Richmond Hill is one of our closest service areas, and a short drive for most of it. Our paint protection film services are built around prep, alignment, finish quality, and clear communication from start to finish.

New Vehicle Handling

Every vehicle receives a careful inspection before installation. On newly delivered vehicles we also check for transport film residue, dealership wash marring, and other cosmetic issues that should be addressed before film goes on.

Climate-Controlled Studio

Consistent temperature and lighting give predictable conditions for prep, installation, and curing on every job.

Coverage Matched to Ownership

Different ownership plans often justify different coverage. We recommend based on how long you expect to keep the vehicle rather than simply its value.

Our Process

From Booking to Pickup

Four stages, each with a clear purpose and the time it needs.

1

Coverage Consultation

How long you are keeping it, annual kilometres, and whether it is new or established. If you have a delivery date coming, we can hold a slot around it.

2

Inspection and Decontamination

New vehicles are not automatically clean. Transport wax, adhesive residue, and dealer prep marring all need removing before film, and we handle that as standard.

3

Installation and Edge Work

Panels are wrapped with attention to fit, tension, and edge tuck. Where a panel needs removing for a cleaner wrapped edge, that is planned into the booking.

4

Inspection and Aftercare

We walk the finished vehicle under controlled lighting, then cover cure time, first wash timing, and what settling looks like in the first week.

Frequently Asked Questions

PPF Questions from Richmond Hill Drivers

I am picking up a new car soon. When should I book?
As close to delivery as scheduling allows. Every week of driving before installation is a week where something can land on the paint, and film goes over whatever is there. Talk to us before your delivery date so we can hold a slot rather than fitting you in afterwards.

Does a brand new car need paint correction first?
Usually only light work. Factory paint is cured and ready on delivery, but new vehicles often arrive with transport wax, adhesive residue, and wash marring from dealer prep. That gets removed as part of our standard process, and heavier correction is rarely needed on a delivery-mileage car.

What if a panel has been repainted?
Fresh paint needs to fully cure before film goes on, typically 15 to 30 days depending on the paint system. Repainted panels also require a signed waiver, because film adhesion on refinished surfaces is less predictable than on factory paint.

Should I get film applied before winter?
If the choice is autumn or spring, autumn is the stronger option. Winter introduces road salt, sand, slush, and additional roadway debris. Installing film before that first season means the protection is already in place when conditions become more demanding.

How long does the film last?
Premium self-healing film is designed for long-term exterior use. Warranty terms depend on the film selected, ranging from a 10-year manufacturer warranty to a limited lifetime warranty. We confirm the terms for your film at booking. How long it continues to look its best depends on factors such as driving conditions, care, and maintenance.

Should I add a ceramic coating on top?
On a new vehicle you plan to keep, it is a reasonable pairing. PPF handles impact protection. A ceramic coating can then be added if easier washing, gloss, and chemical resistance are also priorities.
